He snapped a great picture! I'm envious, since most of the time the interesting birds around here seem to sense when I'm reaching for the camera, and they fly just out of camera range. The hawk's beautiful coloring is perfect for today's challenge. I love your journaling as well as the elegant name -- and name tag -- you gave him. :)
Whoa! Spencer is truly BEAUTIFUL! Great shot of him BTW. Love your page! I think the the colors are just fine with Spencer's coloring--also brings out the hint of "peach" on his throat. What a special photo!
Really beautiful, Valerie. I can see why your DH wanted this pic scrapped...lovely. Your color choices make it even more regal. Well done!
That's an amazing shot! I love just the little touch of blue. Thanks for joining the challenge!
Oh, he's handsome! And he knew he was being watched. Diane is right - your layout is elegant, and your color choices are perfect for the picture. Beautifully done!
Stunning photo and beautifully scrapped. These colors are just perfect for this photo.
That is an absolutely gorgeous Sparrow Hawk. His colors are incredible and go so well with the color challenge. I love the look of his feathers and his face is beautiful. You managed to capture him in a perfect pose. How lucky to have seen this bird that is uncommon in your area.
Great photo - the colors are so clear. How exciting to have an uncommon bird show up - great journaling.
Fabulous photo and I really like the way you have kept him large. You have scrapped him beautifully - lovely composition.
