Thanks so much Carol for your lovely black 'n white birthday photo's :)

Journaling reads - Birthday parties of my cousins Ginny & Johnny. We all wore Birthday hats & had noisemakers. We had lots & lots of fun! There was plenty of cake, cup cakes & ice-cream for all plus seconds if we wanted More! These photos were taken in the early ‘50’s. Johnny enjoyed his birthday’s in June & Ginny had her’s in December. What a lovely time we all had!

Oh gosh I remember birthday parties like that in the 50s and early 60's. there was always a huge plate of sandwiches (egg and cress, sandwich spread and Marmite seemd to be the favourite flavours) Jelly an ice cream ended the meal. We'd then have games like "pass the parcel" and "pin the tail on the donkey" - all pretty tame stuff fortoday's kids I would think. Great LO! thanks for bringing back such great memories I'm sure Carol will feel the same.

I absolutely love the layout you did for me. I love the colors that you used, the background papers and how you stacked my photo. That cupcake is so cute and I really like the flower cluster. You did a great job on showing off my photos. Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did.

Being born in 1950, I have birthday photos that look a lot like these. Wonderful memories of a more innocent era. Great job scrapping these wonderful photos.

Took my 3 yo to a bouncy castle party last weekend and she said the best bit was pass the parcel.
