October 1 - Frustrations - Shhhhhhhh

I created this layout back in March. Quiet honestly I was a bit intimidated to express feelings of frustration in a layout...probably why there are so many hearts in it and I'm smiling in the picture. Sometimes life just gets so loud that all I want is quiet and scrapping! Thanks for the topic and for giving the opportunity to express frustrations.

Cheryl Ann, this is just beautifully done! I love the happy side of your frustrations that you've illustrated so beautifully here! What a beautiful layout!

I really like this! You are smiling, it shows all of your loves and roles in life. I interpret the hearts as a representation that you approach all of this with a loving heart, even though you may feel frustrated. I love this layout. Wonderful work and creative expressions.

Well the smile is definitely better than a picture of you tearing your hair out;) :giggle_bear: I saw a really cute layout in a magazine long ago of just that, teehee.

This is so apropos of a busy working mom - pulled in a million directions, mom, Mom, MOM!

I hear ya! disappearing-smilie.gif It's hard enough to admit to having frustrations...let alone SCRAP them. I'm frustrated just thinking about it! ;) I think your LO is a great representation of where you are/were when it was created. Much like school pictures, LOs are the best representation we can muster on a given day: they don't tell the whole story and sometimes don't look anything like reality...but they are important nonetheless. Love the talk bubbles.

This is wonderful! There you are, looking all serene on the outside - just like most of us in real life. I'm so glad you're in touch with what's really going on, though, and that you're claiming time to be creative. I'm so tickled this challenge fit your layout! Thanks for joining in this week's Monday challenge!

We can all commiserate with the feeling of not enough creative time especially when you have an idea that you are eager to try. I think your layout says that you can be frustrated with being pulled in a lot of directions, but you wouldn't give up those little distractions for anything.

What a great idea to express in a layout -- so many times the happy, bubbly ones are the ones we see, but I think it's important to document the not-so-fun side of things too. I love your creativity and the way you did little talk bubbles for everyone. Great job!

Well, this is just wonderful! I love the whole chaotic/crazy/everyone-needing-a-piece-of-you feel to this page, while at the same time you portray the real love and emotion of being the hub of an active family. I really like your use of the talk bubbles and the blended photos are great. I also really like the hearts running throughout the page, like the true song of your family that is always playing underneath - even when you DO want to pull your hair out. I also really like your photo in the middle with everything else swirling around it. Super-duper page!

How cute. The busyness of the layout really depicts the chaotic life a mom leads! I always say the mom is the Executive Director of the house! You have portrayed it well!

Great layout! Glad you got to relieve some frustration. Your thought bubbles are really cute & I like the scattered pattern of your background.

Even though you're venting your frustration, there is love still being expressed in the page. All this will pass in time and you''ll find yourself looking back and missing it! Great LO BTW

I absolutely love this page! It tells the whole story without needing the words. (But take it from an empty-nester--you are going to miss these times!)
