The Crucible

Stage Manager K8

The Crucible, set in 1693 and based on the events of the Salem witch trials, was written by Arthur Miller as a response to McCarthyism in the 1950's

It is one of my very favorite plays and I had the pleasure of stage managing this production in La Mirada CA. The costumes were created by my friends Kathy Gillespie and Barbara Wiesel.

The quote says "We are what we always were in Salem, but now the little crazy children are jangling the keys of the kingdom and common vengeance writes the law!"

The Crucible is a wonderful play. I like how you've combined a number of photos to create a montage of the play. Well done.

Great extractions and fades. Love all the different faces and how you arranged them. This looks like it could be a poster advertising the play. You might want to talk to them about doing their marketing posters.
