Monday Challenge 10/8 - Baking

This is a scrap for my grandson. I call it "The Great Cookie Caper".

Journaling: You and your mother baked Halloween Cookies for your school class. You were so thrilled about it, because it was going to be a surprise, and you talked your mother into adding a scary spider to the design. The cookies were a hit with all of your classmates - The great “Cookie Caper” was a success!

Kit: October 2012 Scrapgirls Member Club, SNU FleaMarket Papers and embellishments

How adorable! Those cookies look so great and delicious too. :) I love the collection you used, it's beautiful all together, and I like the faint blended photo in the background -- I didn't notice it at first glance so it was a great surprise when I saw it! Nice layout!

Great biscuits, particularly like the arial view and how it works so well as an embellishment. I will try and take a similar picture next time I make biscuits with my daughter.

Looks like they had an assembly line going! The cookies are wonderfully spooky - the spider and her web were an inspired addition. And I also like the blended background photo - I missed it until I read Laurel's comment. Great layout!

Love the close-up of the cookie! Great memory -- lot of work invested this day for DGS's class! Excellent layout -- love the journaling.
