Today's challenge is to do a photo extraction. I extracted the image of Tracy from the photo, then layered it on top of a desaturated copy of the same photo - that way, the colors of the kimono would stand out!

The challenge idea & my scraplift inspiration both came from Jody: http://scrapgirls.net/forum/gallery/image/137198-newsletter-10oct12/

Supplies:

ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Vintage PSE 6502 Mini

Flea Market Collection Biggie

ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Innocence 5101 Super Biggie

ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Basic Shadows 6501

Doesn't she look thrilled? She's cute & this is a neat layout. I had to look at the original to see what you'd extracted - great job!

Wow your extraction is GREAT - great idea to desaturate the background. I like the paper on each end of the page, and the title. Very well done - she looks beautiful in that Kimono.

She is so totally adorable! Love that she is so excited to be dressed in such a pretty kimono and at the festival. The extraction is great and I really like the pretty red ribbons down the sides of the page. So lovely.

Tiza you did a wonderful job with this! I love how she truly does stand out and the embellishments are super sweet... and I don't blame her for wanting to stay in it - she looks adorable! Did you find it quick and easy like I promised!?! :-)
