Oct 10 - HNC Patterned Paper - Stormy

I played with this photo a bit to get some drama in the storm coming our way...I adjusted the fill light 30 and blacks 15, Clarity and Brightness changed from 50/25 to 75/50. Then in PSE I did a White Adjustment then High Sharpening. I excluded the buildings, bridge, land and some of the water from the Sharpening. Then I added a Magenta Photo Filter 25. The Sharpening really made the difference in bringing out the details of the clouds forming and the filter added some Magenta to the Gray in the rain laden clouds. It seemed to do justice to the photo and for me brings to mind the heavy booming we could hear as we were packing up to leave.

Did you alter anything on this photo? It looks a really interesting photo with how the clouds are. Nicely done page to show off the photo.

Beautiful! I like your subtle brush work. It really adds to the feel of the wind. I also like how one of them is "blowing off the side of the page."
