Project 52: Week 39

Chugging along and ALMOST caught up again!

Journaling reads"

"Most of this week was spent in rehab with Mom's broken hip... It was hard being inside on such gorgeous days, so Tuesday we sat out by the fountain. I wanted to try Jode's one color challenge so took a mirror pic of my shirt, but never did the LO... Wednesday, Michael's family sent an edible fruit bouquet... Judi arrived thursday afternoon in time to help bring Mom home on Friday night... Carolyn brought her grandbaby to visit before we went home & Jim & Lisa showed up when we got there so we had an ice cream party!... Saturday was quiet as Mom didn't feel well, but Judi & Jo made struffolo for Susan. My laptop battery died so bought a new one at Apple & they even fixed my cracked case. Gorgeous moon that night..."

Great template - I like how you've used the 'four' stack here. Lovely colors. Great to see a picture of you, too, Marilyn. Before, I only knew what your toes looked like. Sorry your mom still isn't feeling well, but at least she's out of the hospital. A broken hip is major at her age.

I'm so happy to see you scrapping again! You did a beautiful job of scrapping a not so fun week and I love the way the frame colors pop from that pretty background paper, Marilyn! Beautifully done, my friend!

Even in a week where you didn't have all good days you manage to get some wonderful pictures! How do you do it!?!?! I love the one of your Mum with Caroyln's grandbaby - what a great shot! And I laughed at the way we don't see Judi, but we see the food she helped make! Love your food stories... A great week.
