How wonderful that you used your Mom's notes on the back of a photo for your journaling! Love the black paper with the wood trim frame around it and I really like the way you've grouped your pictures.

Awesome that you have your Mother's notes on the back of the photo! Great idea to use it as the journalling. Love the sangria in the background with the photo in front. Very artsy. Also really like the Kilroy stamp.

I love the way you made the journaling an important part of the layout. The description helps so much with the black & white photo. Love the sangria image blended into the background.

It is a wonderful layout, particularly because of your mother's notes. So many pictures have nothing or just name and dates that little things like the Sangira and lipstick are forgotten (and I suspect that will get worse with digital where you can't even write on the back).
