Anniversary Sketch Chat Challenge

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an annual event here where men of all shapes, size and professions gather to walk the 3 blocks of Main Street in women's 4 inch red high heels to show their support for our Women's Shelter, Mainstay. This year we had a great turnout with more men participating than ever and we raised a lot of money to support the cause.

Rich was the first police officer to cross the finish line, believe it or not and quickly donned his police boots in lieu of the dreaded red high heels! They are all such good sports!

I used SG Story Teller for my layout

Walk a Mile Logo's used with permission from Mainstay since I was on the planning committee and they were kind enough to let me use it here at SG!

OMGosh, that's SO cool...and served up with some great humor:) What a wonderful cause; I applaud the officers for doing this!

Your layout is wonderful - love the title and word art and the blue compliments the red very nicely.

Great event, great photos and I love the way the Story Teller worked out in your page. I don't know how they pulled of wearing those heels! Wow, I cringe at the thought of it. Great guys!! Nice title work and very thoughtful page, in many ways, Sara.

Looks like a great event. It is wonderful to see men do things like this to raise money for charity. We have a group locally called the Thong Rangers and they do all sorts of things like pulling cars and running marathons wearing just thongs!

What a great layout Sara to showcase all those brave men ---- I love your journaling, the way you did your title AND all your fantastic photos --- what a great thing these officers do, I salute them AND might make the suggestion to one of our local police departments!
