This is the home that Scott’s Grandma and Grandpa Nelson lived in...now vacant you can just imagine the love that was shared in this home. My in-laws have told stories about the folks Grandma Nelson had as boarders and always had a table full and would make huge meals to feed the all. What a beautiful home to have lived in.

Great idea.... yeah very good ides. I need to do one of these. I took photos of the hospital I was born in - now it is a delapidated apartment building (I think) and also of the house I was brought up in when I visited South Africa back in 2010. And so well scrapped. Looks very shabby chic!

Lovely heritage layout. It has a grandmotherly feel to it. I have a few heritage photos with houses so it's nice to see that you can make a great looking layout with them. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love this layout! It really speaks to my heart. I love old homes. Especially the ones my family and extended family lived in. The one in your photo is fantastic. Imagine it all restored and lived in again! Wow.

Jeanne what a beautiful layout - I love the soft colors, the word art, your journaling AND I love the photo of Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's home --- I can hear the laughter from around the kitchen table :)
