Monday Challenge 10 22 12 Library/Books

Monday Challenge 10 22 12 Library/Books

We read to our girls from a very early age. Our oldest, especially, developed a love for books while very young. She now teaches English and creative writing in a high school. This picture was taken at Christmas when she was 13 months old, surrounded by new toys, but preferring to look at her new books. (Not the best picture in the world. The best one of this occassion is in her scrapbook!) I can't believe I didn't think to use the Bookshelf Collection for this, but the supplies I used were:
SSDLOT Grunge Block BMU
Story Teller Colleciton SG
Summer Boy Collection SNU
0scribble Alpha JRA

Precious. That is a great memory. I like the supplies you used. I have a daughter like that too. She's ten and still LOVES her books!
I love the record of the books you read, and are now both rereading to others. My daughter is almost 4 and she has loved books from a young age, I hope this will continue in to her adult years.
Precious photo and wonderful journaling. Love this layout and the memories it brought back to me! We had many of those same books in our home library. Great job.
Fabulous LO. Star them young, it;'s never too early. what a cutie.
You obviously got her off to a great start! I think passing books down to the next generation is one of the most wonderful things around. I think your graphic style is perfect for this photo, and I love the way you included the books. Thanks for joining in this week's Monday challenge!
What a clever layout, and hey, those books are still on my bookshelf - the grandkids still love them!
