Monday 22nd Challenge - My Favourite Book

When I first read the challenge this is not what I had in mind. I was thinking of doing a page about my Kindle that can hold a whole library of books but I was inspired by another member here taking part in this challenge - "cabin fever".

I decided this might be a story my grandchildren would one day enjoy reading to know a little about my early years.

In case anyone is wondering... the family photo is my family on the day my baby sister was christened. The photo behind that is me holding her when she was a baby so around the time I would have been reciting the book.

Beautiful way to preserve your childhood memories for your grandchildren, Anne-Marie! I love your little books on that pretty bookshelf and I really enjoyed reading your journaling very much! Great layout! (I remember Crybaby Calf!)

Oh, Anne Marie - what a WONDERFUL page you have made! I LOVED your wonderfully expressive journaling and felt as if you were telling me a story. Through your words, I could feel the love in your famliy and the excitement in a little girl's experiences in the world of books and how your love for them was grown.

Your layout is gorgeous - wonderful extractions and photos and can you believe it? I had and read that ballerina book as a little girl all the way over here in the USA! Amazing and you brought back warm memories for me with your page. Super special page - well done! :)

I keep coming back to this wonderful layout to study what you have done one more time. I have a number of books from my childhood that are tattered also. Your layout is the perfect way to preserve not only those special books but the memories that go along with them. Thank you for the inspiration Anne-Marie. Your layout is perfect!
