First apartments were so joyous in the freedom and the significance of moving into independence, yet looking back it's amazing just how little we needed to live. Heck my first apartment was a one room combo kitchenette, double bed, overstuffed chair, tv, table and 2 chairs, sink and small cupboard for dishes and food. I shared a bathroom with 4 other apartments in the house. yet I loved it. Nice job on scrapping those precious memories.

Ah yes, the days of skimping and making do were actually fun. Enjoyed this page, like the clean, streamlined look of it. I just have to ask -- am I seeing bottles on the wall defying gravity?

Wow, I missed this wonderful page during the hurricane, but I"m sure glad I found it! What special memories and how nice to still have that table. I love your photos and journaling and especially like how creatively you put different pieces of your background together -- just as you did in your first home.
