Thursday Scrap Challenge 11/1/2012

A photo taken of me back in 1982. I was on a train heading from Anchorage to Fairbanks, with my husband and his parents. Look at those big Aviator glasses! What was I thinking?

I really love the combination of patterned papers you've used - they "frame" you photo beautifully! The stitching adds just the perfect touch and your picture is a great one - I remember those glasses too! My daughter wore something similar for yours! Well done!
I love the photo - those glasses are still in - so pretty the whole look of your page.
You were thinking you wanted to be fashionable! And the truth is, that sort of thing helps put an approximate date on photos. Love your page and all the stitching.
Don't hate the aviators! LOL :) They're back in fashion these days, anyway! I like your layered and stitched squares here.
i like how you stacked the papers, and the stitching goes together very well with the textures of your layout. Lovely colours too. Great job! =)
Love the natural look and feel of this page. Great mixing choices.
Just love everything about this LO, including the 80's glasses...I had some too. The layered papers with the subdued yet rich tones and the stitching are fabulous.
Gorgeous page! Love this photo of you! The golden hues and the lush patterned papers are beautiful and the stitching looks fabulous!
Great page! I love the patterns and the way you've put them together. As for the glasses? It WAS the 80's after all. :D
Love your mixture of patterned papers and the stitching is wonderful. Your sepia hues in the photo are perfect! Love the glasses too!
