Fun Little Suprise Challenge - DSD 2012: "Melinda's Turtle"

Fun Little Suprise Challenge - DSD 2012: "Melinda's Turtle"

My friend sent me some wonderful photos her husband took of the turtles in their pond. I used Brandy's SketchIt on the photo, Syndee's brush set Painted to erase and blend and different PSE filters and blends to create my page. Thanks for the fun chat April and Jode! :D
For my layout I used:
BMU SS Tools: Styles - SketchIt Color
KSC SS Embellishment Templates: Photo Masks: Envision
KSC October Reign Nano
SNU Dynamic Brush Set: Painted
KVE SS Styles: Starburst White
PSE Styles: Inner Ridge on Frame
Used watercolor Filter on flower and blended paper with overlay blend
and Melinda's photo!

Ooh I love this!! It is so striking... The colours and the blending... Mr turtle just jumps off the page!!! The lighting effect you have created is glorious... I just love all the muted colours and leaves here, very organic... Thanks for joining the challenge!

OOOhhh!! Love it! I hope you kept track of what you did - this is spectacular! The big frame is so pretty & I like how it opens the page to the photo (does that make sense?) Pretty background paper, too and the branch is a lovely embellishment.
