Monday Challenge - Guy Fawkes: "The Cowardly Lion Goes Trick-or-Treating in NYC

Thanks for the fun and most interesting challenge, Valerie!

My outdoor celebration doesn't include bonfires but it DOES include spooks! I started this page before the hurricane and with days of power loss couldn't finish. I took the full moon photo on Sept 15 and my godson Chris sent me the photo of the Empire State Building lit up in red, white and blue on Sept 11, 2012.

Since most Trick-or-Treating/Halloween has been postponed or cancelled around here, I'm not sure the Lion got any candy in his bag. :(

Anyone familiar with "The Wizard of Oz" movie will recognize his words: "I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks. I do, I do, I do, I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks, I do, I do, I do, I do!"

For this layout I used:

SG Storyteller Collection

ACA Iridescence Collection Biggie

BMU Dynamic Brush Set: Background blenders

SNU Brush Set: Painted

BMU Dynamic Brush Set: Twinkling

BMU Beautiful Black Paper

MRE SS Tools - Styles: Star Bright 5001

SNU Oz Collection Mini

SG LD Slender Font

SBD Grimm Collection

Great page! I love the bits of light from the buildings and the moon -- they make the spooks even spookier! It's great how you put it all together! I sure hope the Cowardly Lion got some candy. :D

What a fun and creative page!! I love all the spooks flying around that wonderfully lit Empire State Building.. Your grungy scratches add to that perfectly... And the Lion is adorable :-)

Really neat the way you put all the different images together in a coherent manner. Very spooky, but the lion adds just the right amount of whimsy. Love it!
