Monday 11-5 Outdoor Celebration Challenge

Monday 11-5 Outdoor Celebration Challenge

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is celebrated for about two weeks before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the Lenten season. It features daily parades and parties, though I don't think fire works are a part of the celebration. During the parades, people on the floats throw beads and trinkets to the crowd. We took these photos at the factory that makes decorations for the parade floats. I'm at the bottom right of the dragon float. TFL!

Your colors are great for the photos and I love the beads draping down.
Great layout! Love the colors and beads along with the photos.
Perfect subject for an outdoor celebration! Love the colors and beads. The photos are great too!
Cute layout - love the beads you made!
Oh my gosh! that dragon is much bigger than I thought. Love the colors and the festive look of your page. Those beads are the best!
Love the colours, make me want to dance. Love your photos too, and the beads. Thanks for joining the challenge.
What interesting photos. I think the beads are great - just as if youve pulled back a bead curtain to reveal the scene.
Love this New Orleans theme. Great colors and bead curtain. I too am surprised at how large the floats are. Seems like a trip to definitely not miss!
Great use of this collection. Love the simplicity of this page.
Cool photo Diane and great use of the collection. Makes me long for a parade. Wonderful layout! :)
