Nov 9 - Evening Star

Nov 9 - Evening Star

My first competition with the Photography Club is Sunrises and Sunsets. Its been cloudy each evening but today is the day to try for a photo. Got to the park just in time but hadnít realized the direction of the setting sun is in the trees and power lines - not over the water as I had envisioned. Took a few as the sun sank behind the trees and was pleasantly surprised at the pretty starburst that occurred.

...Proud Evening Star, In thy glory afar, And dearer thy beam shall be; For joy to my heart Is the proud part, Thou bearest in Heaven at night, And more I admire Thy distant fire, Than that colder, lowly light. Edgar Allen Poe

WOW! What a gorgeous shot you captured, Cheryl Ann and I love, love how you've scrapped it! The colors in your layout just really your make your beautiful photo pop!
Oh, I KNEW this had to be your gorgeous page Cheryll Ann when it popped out at me from the MB. WOW, your photo came out beautifully and I love how you masked and framed it. Also really like how creatively you put together and blended the different pieces of your background which complement your pic so wonderfully. Super journaling too - great layout :)
Beautiful photo and you've done a wonderful job scrapping it. Looks fantastic.
What a great photo despite it not being over the water! I love your quote too.
