Saturday Color Challenge 11/17/12

Saturday Color Challenge 11/17/12

I never use brown with lavender, but it works out for this layout.

For the 200th anniversary of the birth
of Robert E. Lee we were invited to perform Tom Dugan's one man play at
Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. The campus is very
beautiful. We toured the house that
was built for Lee when he was president of the college. We also visited the
Episcopal Church that he attended and Lee Chapel where he is buried. Visitors
often leave gifts of apples or coins on
the grave of Lee's horse Traveller. This was my first tour with Tom, and it will remain one of my fondest
theater memories.

Very nice layout! I love the wonderful photos and great journaling. I think the colors do work well together too. Thanks for taking part in the challenge!
Beautiful - the colors look wonderful. I especially like the matching frames around the main photo & the journaling. Such an interesting bit of journaling, I love hearing about these historic spots.
Such an unusual colour combination! Love the composition and the journalling.
I love your photos and journaling. The colors look lovely here, too.
I never would have put these two together either, but they sure look great here. Fantastic collage!
