Every time I look at these photos they have me grinning like a fool - Callan told me this story after Colleen (Darren's mum) had gone:
"I was opening the bag Mum and I thought it was a lion, and I was like "oh a lion, maybe it's a pillow pet or something... not really what I want but ok" and I was going to say thankyou like you tell me to and then I saw the nose, and the mole and I knew it was ALF!!! It was ALF!!!"
He is such a crackup - Colleen managed to get this Alf toy second hand, not even realising it was Callan's most wanted present EVER - so when Darren was telling her about what to get him and how he only has 2 seasons of Alf, she mentioned she thought she had an Alf doll she bought the week before as it looked 'kind of familiar'... his little face lit up and it was so gorgeous - I don't know what age they lose this child-like wonder but I hope it never goes!

Oh, Callen has the cutest, sweetest dimple that just makes the happy smile on his face! I'd smile everytime I saw these pics too, Jody! What an incredible moment seeing your child soooooo happy! Gosh, I haven't seen Alf for years - I love this! Love the journaling up the side of the page - Callan is adorable!

Oh my goodness, Jode this is so adorable! Callan and those sparkley eyes and huge dimple just made me smile before I even read your story! I love your wonderful photos - you captured the moment so beautifully. ANd, I really like your green background and how you used the dotted paper. Super layout! :)

What a great moment to capture! You know, he is just too adorable and those dimples and eyes are so very sweet. Love seeing the surprise and joy in his expression at getting something he really, really wanted. I too hope they never loose that wonder, excitement and belief in magic. Great remembrance!
