This is lovely Jane - I recognised Brighton Pier straightaway. I love the feeling of space which emphasises the abandoned and derelict state of the pier.

I can see why you love this photo! The peacefulness of it looks so good with the soft background and white space you gave the page. The embellishments and mask are just perfect!

Love the way you showcased the photo, Jane. The brushed masked behind it really sets it off. Love the delicate balance of the page too.

Gorgeous! The beauty of this abandoned pier is beautifully showcased by the white space just the two birds - even they are solitary. Evokes an emotional response. Wonderfully done.

Also gorgeous - I love all the white space & the splash behind the photo. The gull on the piling is a neat touch.

It always makes me sad to see the West Pier in such a state (I was born and grew up just outside Brighton), but you have scrapped this beautifully. I love the soft feels and simple colours.
