The balance that I had to achieve was two-fold. Since this is a two-pager and I didn't want to change the JIF page, I chose to balance one large photo with two smaller photos. On the right hand page (the layout I made myself), I balanced the larger picture with the smaller and a journalling card. I also paired the bunting with the wordart.

Journalling: Jonathan was so cute. He had a hard time deciding what he wanted to be for Halloween this year. He had his dragon costume picked out. Then, he found Daddy's hat and realized that he was wearing a shirt like Daddy wears and thought that maybe he would go as Daddy instead. Eventually, the dragon won out.

They are so sweet! and you can see the excitement in their eyes! Really like your use of balance with this and how one side is vertical and the other horizontal. Excellent! :)
Very pretty - I like the OFF balance that makes it work because of the photos in a line. Well done.
Pretty page designs. I like the layering you've done on the LHS and the photo placement and banner/title on the RHS. Love the bright, fun colors and the photos are great.
