Dec 15 - Color Challenge - Telling Santa

Journaling reads: Jaxon and Dylan meeting Santa. We got to the mall just as Santa was taking his mandated 1 hour break. We got to sit on the floor, first in line for that whole hour! What a long hour it was. Finally, when Santa arrived back we were elated. Everyone stood up and began watching the process of Santa sitting back down, getting the camera up and ready for the next line of 100+ children waiting ever so patiently to tell Santa what they have hoped and dreamed they could get as a Christmas present. As the velvet cord retaining the line was released and as Jaxon and Dylan got to sit with Santa, Dylan began having second thoughts on speaking with Santa at all. You can see Jaxon is pretty amused by Dylan’s nervousness and discomfort. He is also thrilled to have told Santa what he hopes to get for Christmas.

Another memorable Santa-and-the-boys photo! I love 'em. I enjoyed your journaling (and admire your patience!) and think the Santa cards make a great background. I just purchased the Grunge Blocks and had thought about using them with a Christmas collection, so I'm glad to see how you used them here. The layout looks great! I love it.

I recognised the grunge blocks right away - you have used them brilliantly here! I love the simple white background with allthat busy-ness in the Santa photo - and yet your gorgous boys shine out! They are so adorable and I am loving their Santa pics too :-) The arty feel to this with the structured red and white is wonderful.

I love everything about this layout - the vintage Santa postcards, the festive grunge, the cute photo of the boys, and your journaling! Great job using all the colors of the challenge on this layout..including the little touch of purple on the frame.
