I was looking around one day and came across this stunning painting by Diane Milsap. It is an original and is shown along with some of her other works... I borrowed it here to show of her skill... wish I could paint like this.... I was fiddling around with persepctive here to flatten some upright elements I had... CC welcome!

When I saw the proposed colors for this week, I thought, oh, my! But this is really lovely. Such a wonderful painting and great perspective on it and the frame. The gold frame with the b&w print look very elegant. Love the little scene.

Beautifully done, Jody! You do have such fabulous perspective when it comes to anything artsy and I often wonder how you construct your layouts in your mind because they are always so artfully and perfectly done here on paper! That is a grand painting and you have done an incredible job of showcasing it! Fabulous layout!

Great job! You did well with the perspective change - I've tried it and can't quite get the hang of it. But I am nothing if not tenacious (some would say stubborn) and I will get it eventually!

Beautiful painting. Did you give it that perfect frame? Lovely! I like the toile "wallpaper" in your room, too. I think you did a fantastic job with the vignette!! I love the flat postcard especially. Good for you! I try it every now and then -- and discard my results. You are giving me the incentive to try again.

I totally love what you have been doing with your background papers. It looks fabulous with the toile paper. Great vignette, the postcard came out awesome and the pocket watch looks realistically placed on top the flowers. Did you also "lean" the frame against the wall? It looks that way to me and it came out great! The painting is really beautiful. Great job.

Wow that's a beautiful painting. I've never heard of Diane Milsap, but I like her work based on this one your featured. Great vignette layout! And good job using the colors from the challenge.

Super layout and cool painting. I like how you've framed it and the background and embellishments you chose. Wonderful page, Jode.
