Well I've made the motorcyclist dominant, but I wonder whether the rest of the page is too bland c.c please.

Fantastic extraction, Hilary. I love that background paper too. I think there is just enough texture to the background for it not to be bland, I think in this case less is more, You don't want to draw the eye away from that amazing photo.

It's great Hilary! I agree with Valerie that the structure in the background helps it not to be bland (a new word I learned today, thank you!). I love the reflection

Amazing layout, Hilary. Your extraction is great and the subtle reflection just wonderful. I really like the way you used the film negative so he looks like he's riding right out of it. I also really like your "bland" background as I think it lets all your super work shine through.

The photo is wonderful! I love the overall masculine, slightly grungy, look of the page -- and I wouldn't change a thing. This is marvelous!

Spectacular. The background has wonderful texture & it's a great color. The only suggestion I might make is to put the figure more in the light? Love the extraction though and that great alpha.

I think this is a perfect page. It certainly is not 'bland'. The motorcycle extraction taking center stage is great as is the curled negative. Love the mirror image and the various shades of brown in the background paper. You did a great job.

Awesome extraction. I think the background is perfect for the theme and the photo! Your attention to detail is wonderful. The motorcyclist on the curl is great.

Great extraction and I think it's perfect just the way it is. Sometimes less is more.

Thankyou Aggie - I've turned the paper round and it's made a big difference!
