December ATC Swap

While living in Turkey, we became so in love with Turkish food and I've learned to replicate most of the things we love. This is a favorite of ours and a Christmas Tradition to have every year - the little triangles are made with Filo Dough and filled with a mixture of goat cheese (real goat cheese, not feta cheese) and baked until light and crispy. I serve them with a Turkish Salad, which is very different from American Salad and Turkish Kofta - little meat balls made with lamb and yogurt and all kinds of aromatic spices including a touch of mint. It's a delicious meal and one of our favorites!

Great photo, and I love your interesting journaling. I grew up in northern New England where a lot of Lebanese food is available. I think it is somewhat similar to Turkish food, and I love it all! This looks so mouth-watering. Yummy ATC!

Cute card and a lovely tradition! We have just booked a trip to Turkey and the Greek Isles for this spring and I'll be sure to look for some of these goodies!
