Project SG Dec LO 2

We plan to drive back to Florida and arrive on New Year's Eve, so,it is likely that this will be my last Project SG layout of the year. Participating has given me the push I needed to record every day happenings. It's been a lot of fun, too.

Journaling reads: Highlights from the last half of December:

We traveled from FLA to NJ to be with our sons and family for the Christmas holidays. The DGK were bouncing off the walls in anticipation of the big day. DGS stayed overnight at our hotel on the 23rd. Dinner at son #2 and DIL’s on the 24th. Christmas day was spent with assorted relatives - lots of food and laughter. After Christmas we stayed with the DGK while their parents had a much needed break. Photos from the top: DGS at our hotel; DGD#2 with her new guitar; DGD#1 when I treated her to Starbucks.

For this layout, I enjoyed using a template from this month's SSClub: EBA_SSDLO_85x11JunkJournal.

It does sound like a great Christmas (except maybe the drive). This is a wonderful layout! I love the red and green plaid. Great journaling & I like your torn edges.

Fabulous, Diane! I love how you've made the background of the paper with the plaid paper! What a cute idea! I think your Christmas must have been perfect - it sounds lovely and I like the way you've scrapped it here! Great layout!

Wonderful page, Diane. I love the "Christmasy" feel to your layout and I really admire how beautifully and creatively you use the Scrap Simple Club. Everything about this page is lovely - photos, placement, colors, etc, etc. Great job.
