I used this layout to illustrate the art of storytelling on a Scrap Girls blog post. You can find the post here.

 

Journaling: While watching a kayak race, the boys decided to create a big “Hi” out of driftwood to greet the racers. David thought their first effort was too small, so the boys searched for longer logs to build a bigger structure. The race was over before the boys finished, but that didn’t matter. It was still a big “Hi”!
