Everyday Moment

I love these photos of my husband and grandson Josh. I decided to take them this summer for just the reason that we have this challenge. We often forget to document the little things. My husband Tim loves to show Josh how to do simple everyday things like using tools, doing household maintenance, and in this case husking corn. Josh is always eager to learn and help. At every family gathering they are always side by side. Some of my materials are retired, but here is my list:

DEB_DyedFabric2_paper

VRA_ SSTmp_Curve

SG_Relax_Emb_ABL_corn

AFT_SSStyles_PolkaDotEpoxy

BHA_BrushSet_CitySlcikPaint

The journaling reads:

YUM! YUM!

What could be better than fresh sweet corn bought at the farm? Grandpa loves to teach Josh how to do everyday things like husking the corn and Josh loves to learn. Josh appreciates Grandpa’s patience and Grandpa is amazed how quickly 4 year old Josh catches on. They definitely have a special relationship.

Oh this is just precious - your photos are so sweet and I love the expressions on both their faces. Also really like your colorful background and title and the way you tucked one photo behind the swirl. Great layout.

Love this. You did a wonderful job with making the background help tell the story of the photos. Wonderful photos of everyday moments. Special memory. (my family loves corn on the cob - we have a local farmer's market that sells the best corn in the world!)

Precious! Love your photos. I like how you placed them on the yellow corn paper. Love the little inchworm crawling along the curved papers and the stalks of corn. Your husband and grandson Josh look really intent on their corn husking. I used to husk corn at my cousin's farm when I was a kid. Loved it.

How lovely! The yellow backgrounds go so nicely with the their blue shirts. Love the curve between the corn foreground and they yellow paper in the background with the photo tucked in between.

What a lovely LO. I love the bright colours you used to match the corn and how the one photo looks like it's growing from behind the paper swirl. The admiration in Josh's face is so adorable as he's looking up at Grandpa, lovely memories to look back on!
