December 2012 Hybrid ATC - "Holidays"

My cousin knows I like "back photos" so she took this one especially for me as her son walked up to greet Santa. It was a bit of a nostalgic trip as it might be his last year visiting, but then again - Santa is always magical no matter what age you are, right?

For the hybrid part of my card, I tied a tiny gold bow to the top of the ornament and sprayed the card - front and back - with a pearl shimmer spray. I also add a christmas tree and snowflake epoxy sticker to the front.

For the digital part of the ATC I used:

SNU SUper 7 Spread Winter's Hush

SNU Brush Set: Painted

BMU Background Blenders

BMU Holiday Magic Collection Biggie

KSC Believe in Miracles

SNU Winter's Hush Paper Mini

SNU Dynamic Brush Snow Dust 6301 Paper Special

and for this layout I added from:

EBA Sugar Plum Fairy Collection Biggie

Your ATC is wonderful, Marilyn! ( I sneaked a peek at the YouTube of it!) Your photo is almost timeless, I think - it's kind of Normal Rockwell! Beautifully done!

Gorgeous hybrid ATC! I especially like the nostalgic feel to the card and the soft finish on it. I also like how you made your photo look like an ornament. Pretty layout, too! The bg paper looks perfect with your lovely card! Thanks so much for my copy -- I love it!

It's a lovely card. I especially like the vintage feel of your ornament. What a neat idea to photograph them on pretty paper.

I love the vintage feel to your card, and it displays so beautifully against that paper! Very festive but so retro too - and I understand the sentiment behind it, beautifully done.
