1-7 13 Embellishments and 1-8 Freebie Challenge

How nice that today's challenge asked us to use Jen Reed's lovely ribbon embellishment! I added it to the other 12 here and was able to combine my layout with yesterday's challenge as well. There might actually be 14 here, if you count the lines of Brandy Murry's SS Paper Edgers as two. Anyway, this was a fun way to make a layout of the cute photo of my DGK sent to me by my daughter-in-law. Thanks for the challenges!

Adorable photo! Love the pop of red against his blue!
Ooh this is so SO pretty! i love this! (That's my favourite shade of blue too, and the red looks amazing against it with that little touch of black. Going into favourites!)
This is so lovely 'n sweet Granny - love the blue bg
This is an adorable layout and picture. I really love your color choices.
Outstanding! Wonderful fresh, lean look of this page. What a great photo; and the flowers on the folded pic is a perfect touch. Love, love, love this!
Great job! I love it Adorable photo too. Great colors.
Great contrast with the paper and the pretty cut mat and the stitches! Such cuties too!
Oh, Diane I just love those kids - what a wonderfully beautiful photo. I also really like how you put your background together to show them off even better. Your blending is outstanding and so is the way you framed and inked the pic. I really like your pretty embellishment cluster and how you tied, tacked and stitched it to the page. Absolutely delightful and gorgeous page. (and kids..)
This is gorgeous Diane! The pink against the blue is lovely, matches in so well with eldest DGD's hair accessory! Love the brush work too - those spirograph type flowers look great here and I giggled when I saw they were called "Grow"... so apt for kids! Your placement and details are as spot on as always :-)
Great framing of that adorable photo. I echo what everyone as said about the lovely blue and pink/reds, spot on and eyecatching for this lovely page. They are too cute!
