My second meetup with these girls, and already they feel like old friends! This time we met in Kansas City and Ro, the CEO was able to come. It was so much fun to meet her and spend time with her. We had fun listening to her banter with Angie and Cherise regarding some new designers in the works.
I was able to have lunch with Cindy Gullett the day the meetup started, as she lives in nearby Platte City. We had a long visit during and after lunch.
On Saturday, we went to Shoal Creek Living History Museum (pictured) for our photo walk.
Jeff T (Cheri’s Scrap Guy) posted to the Scrap Girls meetup forum thread: Sorry I couldn't make it! Between three boys to look after and a 75 mile bike ride tomorrow, it is going to be a busy weekend. Hopefully Cheri doesn't get too bored down there by herself... Cherise: Jeff - you are hilarious. Jeff had signed on to the forum back in February when he made me a beautiful digital scrapbook layout for Valentine’s Day. Luckily Mom was able to watch the boys while Jeff and Dan rode the BRR Ride from Perry to Rippey. One last bit of excitement was Ro (via April) asking Conda to be part of the Welcoming Committee!
