Thurs 1-10 SSDLO Challenge

I LOVE SS Layout Templates and albumn templates, especially when I'm in a creative slump. I usually wind up varying them somewhat, but they make putting a layout together easy. Here are two pages from the album I'm putting together of our October trip to Italy. I used Andrea Trump's Magazine 12703 albumn template for these pages, though I rotated the templates to "landscape" in order to use them in the 8h x 11w sized book.
Other info is in the exif files.
These photos were taken at San Michele Church in Anacapri, a pretty church with an amazing tile floor. Journaling reads: "We walked down narrow streets, turned right at the big pink villa, down the lane to the Church of San Michele. The floor is completely covered with hand painted ceramic tiles, showing the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. The dramatic scene takes place in a lush setting surrounded by trees, plants and all types of animals. This wonderfully preserved floor dates from 1761 and was created by Leonardo Chiaiese, one of the best ceramic artists working in Naples in the 18th century. We climbed the choir loft for an even better view."

    Beautiful, beautiful layout!
More beautiful photos and gorgeous layouts from your travel, Diane! I just love seeing these photos! I love the curled edge at the top of your pretty layout! Thanks so much for sharing all of the wonderful sights you saw!
Fantastic layout, Diane. I like how you turned the templates. I didn't know you could print landscape books. I'll have to check into that.
What a lovely double-pager! I like the interesting design with the crumple edge on top.
Oh, gosh this is magnificent, Diane. The pages look gorgeous together - now I need to go search out the individual ones so I can look more closely.
Lovely as always Diane! I really like the crumpled paper at the top and the simple use of embellishments they tie it together. Your journaling tells the story very well! Can't wait to see your completed album!
love love love how you rotated the templates to suit your photos, great layout!
