I don't know why, but I always feel pretty when I get my nails done. I happily played guinea pig when my DGD tried out the technique of using just (purple) glitter polish on the tips of my plain nails. It was a fun look for Christmas!
I was so inspired by Jody West's NL article today on girly grunge, that I thought I'd give it a try. It's not a jode2771 layout, but it was a lot of fun to do!

It's fabulous, Diane and I love the expression of your sweet little granddaughter's! She's so intent on putting that glitter on your nails! I feel pampered too when I get a manicure - something just so very special about hands feeling pretty! Great layout!

Diane, Diane, Diane... why do you say such things?? You do such wonderful pages I am always inspired by you! Your girlie grunge page is beautifully done... lots of pretty colour and the painted effect looks marvellous! Love that photo of you and DGD especially the way you cropped it in close to capture her intent expression... and of course the glitter on your alpha - perfectly girlie. Love this page :-)

Oh I agree with Jode Diane - your pages are always so lovely. You did a great job on the girlie grunge and this page. What a look of intent on her face and I can see how gentle she is polishing so that and spending time together sure is pampering. I really like the scribbles and the soft colors you used and your title looks wonderful.
