Jumpstart January 2013 LO #3 "Matchbook Album Craft"

Jumpstart January 2013 LO #3 "Matchbook Album Craft"

I tried Theresa's (TeeCee) tutorial on the Printable Craft: Matchbook Album
It was easy to follow and fun to make once I got the hang of it all. I made a book of some christmas pics from this year. What I show on this layout is the book closed, then the pages as they are turned & then as they are extended to full height - front and back.
This is a really great hybrid craft and finished product. After I read Theresa's tutorial on the blog I was pushed to buy the kit. Thanks to Jumpstart January for forcing me to try it right away. I think it would be fun to make more Matchbooks like this for different Holidays and occasions.

For this layout I used:
My completed Matchbook Christmas Album
with my own photos.

Oh Wow!! You not only did a page but you DID the craft...! The photos are beautifully placed in this little album and your page shows off all your hard wok... I recognise a few faces in there too... amazing amount of work in this, well done!!!
Great layout Marilyn and you did a wonderful job on the matchbook album! :)
That is a neat project and yours came out great. Love the embellies in your layout, too.
You did an excellent job on this, Marilyn! I may have to try this one day. I can see what a great little gift this would be, too.

What a great way to showcase a hybrid project! Clever!! :)
What a great craft project! You did a wonderful job; I love it! And I like how you've shown it in your layout. It's great to see the book closed and then fully open. And I love that red background on your page! So bright and festive -- perfect for Christmas!
Fantastic job on your hybrid project and a fun LO showing them off.
What a great idea Marilyn, a layout of an album. Neat! You've done a wonderful job with it. I absolutely love your choice of background for the cover of the matchbook album
How neat that you did the craft and then did a layout of it Marilyn. Your layout looks like I could just reach over and pick up the matchbook album. Great job!
