Fri 1-18 CSC Place of Interest

Santa Maria delle Grazie is a small church in Milan. It's a place of interest because its convent houses Michaelangelo's famous "The Last Supper." Although the convent was bombed during WWII, the wall containing The Last Supper had been protected and remained undamaged. It was awe-inspiring to see it in person. No photos of the wall are allowed, so my picture of The Last Supper is from the Internet, but shows it as it actually is, with the refrectory door cut into the bottom.

What beautiful photos and really lovely layout. I love the background colors and the lacy pattern behind the photo on the right. Lovely.

This is certainly a place of interest and with such a rich history. Love your LO. Italy is next on my places to return to when in Europe (not this year though)and Milan was on my list so will remember this place.

This is marvelous Diane. The soft background and ornate border above the Last Supper pictures set these photos off perfectly. The book you are doing of your trip is going to be fabulous!
