A layout for my brother, Joel, who died in 2007 at age 20. Journaling reads:
Here is one of the first and the very last photo I ever took of you. Those were definitely happier times.
So much has changed since you left us. You should see your nieces and your nephew. They are filled with so much joy and I see pieces of you in them from time to time. Not a day goes by when I don't think of you -- something funny I want to tell you, the way you used to laugh with your whole body, your mischievous smile and your sharp mind and wit.
Your death nearly destroyed me. Sometimes I still cannot believe it. But hard as it is to deal with, I will not stop living just because you did. I am a survivor.
