The page is printed, then each rectangle is cut out and placed in a pocket of a page protector.

I have details about how I'm doing the project here.

Cute layout, although it reminds me that I've been slacking in my resolutions to unclutter and get myself in more photos. In my case, I want my grandchildren to know they had a grandma. I'm always taking pictures of my husband with the kids. Your organization looks great.

Wish my kitchen was that organized. sometimes it is.LOL. Yes, you should place your photo on some of your layouts. We all avoid this & the children notice. Very nice!

Oh, my! You are so organized, Char! I love it and I need to do the same thing! I like my counters clear too but they just never seem to be that way - they seem to be the "just leaving it here for a minute, Mom" place and whatever it is is still there days later! Definitely we all need to add our photos to our layouts - I never even think about that but our kids do certainly notice! Super layout and your house looks great!

Great that you're leaving your own presence in your album with your photos and your own handwriting, even if it's a font. Definitely a great way for your family to remember you years down the road. Your kitchen looks great!

Nicely done! I agree with the taking the time to intentionally include photos of ourselves. So often we're the ones behind the camera and there's no photo record of us for the kids to look back on.

I love your diary format! Great idea, too, to include photos of yourself -- as well as photos of the kitchen and other rooms of your home. Those are the pictures that really mean something to our kids. I love this!
