HNC 30jan13 - photo manipulation

I followed a tutorial for adjusting and blurring the background, using a gradient to blend in the blur and to add bokeh... I am happy with it :-)

Gorgeous! Love the photo treatment and your clusters bordering it!
Love it Jody! This is beautifully balanced. I like how the horizontal rickrack plays with the vertical lines in your photo. Fabulous clusters too.
I like the soft lighting and the feeling of depth, cool!
Another great design from Jode! You work with SO many different styles and looks and each one tells your story perfectly. As far as this LO goes, happy is exactly what you should be!

PS - That is an absolutely DARLING photo!
Love all the blues in your layout, the softly blended background and the fun bottom painted border. I really like the idea of using the gears as embellishments, I struggle with using them and you've done it so well!
You SHOULD be happy with it -- it's gorgeous! The technique turned out great. Our focus is truly on that cutie-pie, and, though the background is there, it's not distracting. I love the shades of blue you've combined as well as you lovely clusters. Creative and lovely layout!
just love what you have achieved here. Gorgeous LO :) wass the tutorial here on SG?
I'm happy with it as well. Great layout!
Yes, you should be happy with it. Great job!
