Week 6 - The Nor'easter. Snow pictures!

Journaling:

A big storm gave us a foot of snow Friday night. Thursday’s red sunrise was nature’s warning!

Friday as the snow began I took the bikes into the shop for a tune-up (there was a sale.) I can't imagine what the neighbors thought we were doing.

We kept warm as the snow flew with homemade pea soup.

A couple hours of shoveling got us back to normal, and the clouds left so we could enjoy the beautiful blue sky that follows a storm.

Looks great! The layout, that is. The snow, however, looks cold. lol I chuckled about what the neighbors might be thinking about you and the bikes. I like the picture of your table setting/spread.

Looks like you weathered the weekend well! Love your layout here. From the blocking to the photos to the journaling. All of it is so nicely done.

I love your snow pictures! We used to live on the Jersey shore, but I don't know if they got as much snow as you did. Relatives told me their parts of NJ got about 18 inches. Not as much as New England, but still enough to make that pea soup look awfully good!! Great scrapping!

Yup, I did have 18 inches in NJ. Your photos are wonderful and I really liked your journaling. Great background and pretty page. Super work.

What an amazing week. Thanks for sharing the photos of the snow covered grounds. From someone who hasn't seen snow (yet) I find it magical. Although I am sure that would wear off very quickly once I too began shovelling the stuff. Great memories and layout to match.

I like your journaling and snowy weather embellishments. I have to admit that my first thought when I saw that bike photo is that you are very dedicated bikers.
