week 5

Here's my week 5, the journaling reads: Sunday: We went to BLC to hear Marc preach. He had a controversial subject this time and we were proud that he addressed it. Lasagna dinner at Julie and Jeff’s.

Monday: Julie thought Gracie’s Imagination Station project was due next week but it was actually this Tuesday. We went out to buy supplies and Grace came over to my house to work on her oil pastel still life of flowers. Josh stayed for a little while too.

Tuesday: Cleaning and cross stitch.

Wednesday: Josh was sick so I stayed with him while Julie made her daily runs back and forth to school. Gracie very proudly showed off her art at Imanination Station and we toured all the other exhibits.

Thursday: Finished the cross stitch camel (still need to add tassels and beads) and started on a shepherd. 43 down and 8 to go.

Friday: Cleaning day and Tim brought home Rocky’s pizza.

Saturday: Shopping and organizing.

I really like the background you used and your photos and journaling are wonderful. Super cross stitch too - wow, it's an amazing piece I can't believe you have more to go.

I admit the camel caught my eye. I wondered whether you had traveled somewhere far distant for a couple of days during the week. I'm glad you included your journaling so I could learn it's a cross-stitch project! It's gorgeous, by the way. That's some project!! Once again, I love that urban setting and the messy tape holding your lovely photos. Great page!

Wow - you are one busy lady! Love showing the cross stitch. I' haven't had time to work on mine lately, so that's a good inspiration. Great background and fascinating journaling.

Wow, the camel caught my eye in the gallery and now I see that you cross-stitched it - great job! The colors of the brick & the great texture for the background looks amazing.
