Tues 2-13 Freebie Challenge

I haven't yet used Paula Wright's lovely freebie from Buttermilk Road, so today's "any" freebie gave me the chance. I also added an old freebie tag from Kim Meeder's Terra Collection that I also don't believe I've used before (or maybe once). Other info is in the exif.

Birds that I usually see one at a time in our yard all gathered the other day for what I supposed was a family reunion. :D TFL!

Love, love, love the blending, the pretty cat tail and the swirls. How funny that they were all there together! I like the reflection that you captured in the photo too.

Such a simple but lovely presentation of this wonderful photo. I love the reflection you caught in the water. It makes the two lines of water fowl look like an arrow pointing to your embellishments on the left! Beautiful texture on the background and the photo.

Oh, I saw this on the Message Board Diane and wondered if it was one of your terrific bird layouts. And, it is. Great photo and wow on the refection - I thought the family reunion was even bigger than it really is. Lovely blending and I really like the swirls and cattail and the creative way you raised and framed your pic. I also really like your title - how clever. You could have a wonderful bird book if you printed all these pages. Super work.

I knew this was your work without looking closely. You definitely have a great, personal style going, Diane. It's beautiful! Gorgeous color combos here! What a perfect mix of greens of nature- perfect! Fantastic brushwork and that framing brush is inspired. Great texture everywhere I look. Lovely photo and you have set it off perfectly, and capped it with the best title ever! Another fabulous page!

I love the colors and am just blown away with the combination of textures and embellishments. You took a photo that could have been nothing too special and made it memorable. Impressive.
