I love using the blending modes especially to blend my photos into the BG.

On the this LO I did the following

1.attached the photo to a Junk Trunk brush and then blended them into the BG paper using vivid light and reducing the opacity.

2. I attached AFT_Jubilent paper to JRE_SSPaper_FreshStart and then blended it into the BG paper using linear Burn

3.I then added all the embellishments including the original photo.

4.I used AFT_Visionary word art and blended that into the BG paper using Linear burn.

Absolutely gorgeous Jane - your photo is wonderful and your blending is superb. Thanks for explaining how you did it. I really like how you framed the original pic in an oval and tied it with the string. Wonderful page.

Jane you are the Queen of blending modes! I just love what you have done here... that background is so wonderful... I keep looking at it over and over and it looks so different from the inset pic... ethereal and timeless... such a brilliant technique for an old building... I am going to go look for an old building photo and try it out! Love the 2 versions of the photo and I am a sucker for word art - great job!
