TOP: A huge thunderhead over our trees in the back as we were grilling dinner one night. Our church kids participated in the Souper Bowl of Caring! They collected canned and dry goods for our Food Pantry, and also collected money that will be sent to “Food For the Poor”.
MIDDLE: Dusty has a new collar, one that he can’t break the clasp on like he did on his previous collar. Dave discovered that the ducks were testing out our front planter as a potential nesting place. We put a quick stop to that! On Saturday, Val organized a surprise party for our friend Caron. We all met at Bimini Boatyard and Grill up in Ft. Lauderdale. Next to Val is Jimmy and Dave. These are all friends from Dave’s performing arts high school.
BOTTOM: Nanette (Jimmy’s sister) and Dave. Caron, Dave and me (photobombed by Tracy!). My dinner was fabulous! Breaded scallops, cheesy risotto, and asparagus. And wine. Lots of wine. :-)
