I finished this a month ago (looking at the date it is exactly a month ago today!) and today seemed a good time to post it. I have repetition in the photo strips and the nature pieces as well as in the colour.

This design is scraplifted from a wonderful PAPER page I saw in Scrapbooking Memories called Kyoto, by Tammy Higginbotham, Vol14, number 11.

Oh wow this is amazing, the LO just looks like a continuation of the photo with all the natural elements. TFS xxx

I love how the vertical photo strips bring our attention to the lines of the bridge. I especially love seeing how you mix those wonderful natural elements with the delicate Victoriana. Fabulous colors here! I'm always inspired by your creativity!

Oh just gorgeous Jode and so many beautiful pieces to look through. Your cluster is wonderful and I like how it brings me into and across the page. I also really like the line repetition throughout your page - as in the photo strips and the twig trellis. And again in the lace and the bridge. Just lovely. Your photo is so pretty and I feel like I'm in one of Monet's paintings. Super layout.

The twiggy branches are just right the way you have them arranged around the photo. I love them. This is such a beautiful page, I'm saving it for inspiration.

How beautiful! I never guessed this was yours with all the flowers & lace. I like that bridge a lot & the kind of rustic embellishments are a great choice for framing. The bits showing through the strips look like they are joining the strips. Wonderful look. In my heart, though, it's the lace & pretty papers that I love.

Oh boy, I see your name under a LO in the Gallery and I have to come see what inspiration you have given us today. And you never disappoint.

This is beautiful. I love the way you framed the photo, which is wonderful all on its own. You can barely tell where the photo leaves off and the embellishments take over and visa versa. Also very pleasing is the combination of the brown wood with a few greenish leaves, the pops of purple, and the soft pale lavender in the background.

Wow, I love, love, love the background you've created. The shiney, foil type paper is really lovely with the lavender and I like how the color is picked up too in the branches and again in your photo. The criss crossing of the branches is so fun and plays with the lace and bridge so nicely. Really beautiful!

Oh my, Jody - this is splendid - an wonderfully lively presentation of a serene scene. I laughed when I read Sara's and Aggie's comments - one sure it was yours, and one surprised it was yours. You constantly inspire us with the versatility of your creativity. This example will be added to my collection of saved layouts - many of them yours.
