Festival du Voyageur (literally translated as Festival of the Traveller) is an annual 10-day winter festival that takes place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, in February. The event is held in Winnipeg's French Quarter, Saint-Boniface, and is Western Canada's largest winter festival. It celebrates Canada's fur-trading past and her unique French heritage and culture through entertainment, arts and crafts, music, exhibits, and displays.

The level of detail in the ice carvings was incredible. And to think they were carved when temperatures dipped to -38 degrees celcius (that's -36 Fahrenheit) excluding the wind chill factor!! Too bad with the warming temperatures they won't be around much longer.
