Feb Swap - Scones
I found this recipe years ago and I've made a ton of them. It's a really flexible recipe. Sometimes I use part whole wheat flour, sometimes I add fresh grated lemon or orange peel, sometimes I use dried cherries or blueberries or cinnamon chips. Sometimes I glaze them. Sometimes I've used plain yogurt in place of the sour cream. Sometimes I'm too lazy to pat the dough into a ball and cut them; I just use a big cookie scoop to get them on the pan. It's so quick and easy too - I've made them b4 work and took them in still warm! Enjoy and I can't wait to try out some of the other recipes in the swap.
