I started this yesterday as a scraplift of Amy Flanagan's delightful Triad Color. Then I realized those are the colors for today's Color Challenge as well. I always feel SO efficient when I can combine challenges. I saw this horse the other day and took the photo mostly because I liked the look of the horse's dots with the American flag, and I thought the horse was appropriate for a scraplift of Amy, since she does such lovely horse layouts. TFL!

Oh, I LOVE that pretty gingham ribbon! Tying those flowers with it is just perfect, Diane! Fabulous layout - the simplicity of it caught my eye right away - it's just fabulous!

I love the contrast of the red gingham and the black and white spots! I like the font and title. (note to self...buy this font if I don't have it already!!) Great work combining two challenges so beautifully!

Spectacular! Love the bold colors with the black and white horse. Love the simplicity of the LO - reinforces the rustic charm of the photo.

Oh, this is just lovely Diane - I really like your color combinations and how you put all this together. Your soft yellow background looks like a sunny, cheerful day and the red outline really defines the page. Your photo is just wonderful and so "artsy" in color - what a cool horse, he looks like a dalmation! I like all the rectangles and the angle of the roof and all the shapes on your page and the flag is a great touch of color. The addition of the tied flower stalk is so simple, yetx elegant and really completes your page. Super layout - I really like it and thanks for joining the color challenge.

Great job in combining the 2 challenges! Love how the striped paper works so well with all the lines in the barn. What a very interesting horse, I can't recall ever seeing one with so many spots Marilyn is "spot on" with the dalmation reference. Its great how the red background paper and ribbon tie the page together so well. Great layout.
