Maeve at 18 Months

LOL, if it's chemo day (and it is) I must be posting a LO while on my marathon awake, post-steroid all nighter. This time I didn't work on it overnight, but in dribs and drabs over the past week. I am just too tired at this point from cumulative effects of chemo and other more, um, unpleasant drugs, despite being on a steroid high today. Me, a non-drug using child of the 60's! BUT, that is about to end! LAST CHEMO, YAY!!!! Don't misunderstand.....I am truly grateful for the modern drugs and treatments. That said, I won't miss them and hope to never, ever see them again!

 

Here's another iPhone5 pic DD sent. Thank goodness for these modern phones. Can you even believe that my Maeve is 18 months already?

 

Journaling: Miss Maeve’s Mommy has been taking a monthly photo since she was born. It’s easy to remember to take the picture on the first of the month, since she was born on September 1, 2011. Here she is looking pretty as ever on her 18th month “birthday.” It’s hard to imagine that a year and a half has gone by since the exciting day when she joined her three brothers.

Oh, little Maeve has grown and she is soooooo sweet, Dot! Love the red polka dot background in her pics and the pics are darling in your filmstrip. Too cute, too sweet and I know you are enjoying this little bit of heaven in Maeve! What a dollbaby she is!

Dot she IS adorable!! Love that you have been able to find the time and energy during these last chemo days to create this darling page to share with us! It DOES get better and you will feel better with each passing day despite how it feels now... keep making pages like this and keep being strong, you are doing wonderfully xxx

I'm in awe of your creativity, Dot (but you know that). I love the big M here balancing the photo strip. The red/green combo with the black is fantastic. Love it! I got a kick out of darling Maeve's t-shirt, just in case we didn't know how old she is. :lol: Wonderful page -- and a treat to see another of your layouts in the gallery! Sending (gentle) hugs.

Dot, this is so fun! I LOVE the color scheme! She's adorable. I used to take monthly pics of the girls too. Think I'll take one today just to scrap a monthly page of them...let's see...they are 117 months old today! LOL. I feel the need to scrap that! :D Thanks for the inspiration!

Oh Dot - YAY for you and wow, that lil' Miss Maeve is sure growing up, but still a beauty. Love what you did with that gorgeous photo and the "M". I'm kinda fond of "M"s myself. Take care and sure glad to see both Maeve and you here.
